KristallTurm® presents the first PlayLetter
A Playful Landmark for the Bavaria Filmstadt
KristallTurm® is revolutionizing the leisure market with its latest innovation: the KristallTurm® PlayLetter – a giant wooden letter featuring an exciting world of play inside. The very first of its kind now proudly welcomes visitors at the entrance of Bavaria Filmstadt in Munich, creating an eye-catching landmark and unforgettable experience.
Standing at around eight meters tall, it’s impossible to miss: right at the entrance of the Bavaria Filmstadt in Munich, visitors are greeted by the very first KristallTurm® PlayLetter – in this case, a giant turquoise “B”. From the outside, the massive letter is a true eye-catcher, while inside it hides a multi-level play world. Twisting chambers, hatches, beams, ramps, and more invite children to play, explore, and hide. A slide halfway up adds extra fun by providing a quick way back down. Large and small plexiglass windows ensure bright, light-filled interiors and offer glimpses of the outside world.

The PlayLetter – From Concept to Customizable Landmark
KristallTurm® has actually had the idea for the Playletter for some time. In the past, we have already received international inquiries from Dubai, China and Malaysia. However, in order to guarantee full quality and eliminate possible teething troubles, KristallTurm® initially focused on the regional environment. Large companies such as car manufacturers or airports, public places, leisure parks or vacation destinations – with the Playletter, KristallTurm® is aimed at anyone who wants to create a landmark with active added value. In order to be able to adapt the PlayLetter to various requirements and customer wishes, KristallTurm® offers the playable letters in two sizes (5.60 and approx. 8.00 meters) and in various interior designs. Depending on the space available and the desired letter size, entire lettering can also be created.
