We will be happy to train your staff on a regular basis with regard to the operation and supervision of the facility, so a smooth operation and a high safety standard can be guaranteed. Especially when operating a High Ropes Course, a lot of temporary staff and students are employed, which is why personnel changes are normal. Through the constant trainings, you will always remain up to date with the latest safety techniques and technical innovations.

The training courses offered by KristallTurm® not only cover the training of your staff, but also enables you to carry out certain maintenance work yourself without external support.

training as a kristallturM guide and rescuer

Objective: Instruction, supervision and rescue of customers.

Content: The 5-day training to become a KristallTurm® guide and rescuer includes the instruction and supervision of guests in the use of the belay system, as well as the dressing of guests. In addition, employees are taught the necessary know-how to be able to operate the belay and rescue equipment and to actively perform the rescue. The training is designed for a maximum of 7 participants per KristallTurm® guide.

If the rescuer exam is not passed, only the guide certificate can be issued.

Prerequisites: Minimum age of 18 years and first aid course.

Objective: Refresher training as a KristallTurm® guide and rescuer

Content: This course takes 2.5 days and can only be taken if the 5-day guide and rescuer training has been completed.

Prerequisites: Minimum age of 18 and valid first aid course.

Train the trainer

Objective: To train KristallTurm® guides and rescuer yourself

Content: The training to become a KristallTurm® trainer enables the participants to train other persons as guides and rescuer themselves and to have these persons being certified by KristallTurm® after sending the complete documentation of the training to KristallTurm®.

Requirements (based on DIN 31060):
o Minimum age of 21
o Participation in training courses to become a KristallTurm® Guide and Rescuer (or comparable passed training)
o Proof of at least 100 working days in a High Ropes Course
o Proof of hospitation at a rescuer training course
o Valid first aid course

Training as maintenance officer

Objective: To carry out simple maintenance work and daily checks as defined in the operating manual.

Content: The content of the 2-day training is the extended belaying technique, which enables simple maintenance work to be carried out, such as replacing the descenders or individual element parts as well as maintenance and checks as defined in the operating manual. Simple extended PPE is used for this purpose. A fall into the rope must be prevented in all cases. It always has to be taken care that the belay point is overhead and that the lanyards are shortened to the maximum.

Requirements (based on DIN 31060):
o Minimum age of 21
o Participation in training courses to become a KristallTurm® Guide
o Basic technical understanding and technical interest 

CLiC-iT Level b

Objective: To carry out simple maintenance work and daily checks of the CLiC-iT A62-25 belay systems.

Content: In the 2-day training course, participants learn how to replace individual components and how to recognize and carry out necessary repairs on the karabiners.

MAINTENANCE OFFICER for SSB EQUIPMENT

Objective: To carry out simple maintenance work and daily checks of the SSB belay systems.

Content: In the 1-day training, course participants learn how to replace individual components or recognize and carry out necessary repairs on the carabiners.

Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of instruction and operation of SSB’s.
